They were quick to schedule and even quicker on the job...the repair looks good and took about an hr or less to complete. Had missing shingles over the dryer vent and parts of the back roof...shingles peeled back on the front of the roof near the peak...and some shingles that just needed to be hammered down a little, atleast i thought, but he replaced them...Only thing I didn't like was the fact that they didn't make contact with me before getting on the roof...whether call/txt or a knock on the door since I was home...just heard thumps from the other side of the house...assumed someone was trying to break in...I made it to the front door and looked outside and noticed their van...So yea, communication is definitely needed before hopping on a person's roof.

Simply the best customer service in the CSRA Area. No waiting weeks to get put on a schedule. They checked the issue on Friday and had a crew there on Monday. The work was very professional and the results excellent. I recommend them for all your roofing needs. Additionally, the cost was super reasonable compared to others in this area.

I used RL Hayes back in 2017 to repair a small leak in one corner of the roof. I was very pleased with their work and their customer relations, so when we had a leak in a different part of the roof in 2024, I naturally chose them. I was not disappointed! They provided the same prompt, professional repair and the same friendly service. To them, I am a person, not a job, and that's very refreshing!

One Google search, randomly selected R L Hayes Roofing & Repairs and it was on! Monday, the initial operator taking the call was pleasant and professional. I received a callback in 4 minutes from a wonderful woman who knew exactly what I probably wasn't explaining correctly. Tuesday, assessment site visit was made earlier than the scheduled appointment, very informative and expert customer service. Wednesday, job was completed a day early. Technicians were top notch and went the extra tile to ensure the job was done and would last. Very pleased with my experience.

Very quick to come out for a quote to repair roof. The day after the quote was done, the work was done. Very fast, work was good and worker was very customer friendly. Definitely use this company again for any future jobs I might have that they do.

Best experience I ever had with a contractor! My roof was leaking and it was raining frequently, so I needed help quickly. I contacted the office and received a return call within an hour. After explaining my concern with the leak and current damage, he came out the next day and explained the problem and what needed to be done, and gave me a quote. Short of it, my roof was repaired within a few days under quote. It’s almost like it never happened. No pressure, no chasing down to see when they would arrive, and they cleaned up when they left.

The salesman met me on time, was very informative, courteous and respectful. He gave me a quote within 24 hours and called me to ask if I had any questions. Skylights came in within 2 weeks as promised and they were promptly installed with no leaks. The owner, Mr. Hayes, came by to inspect the job and talk with me personally as job was being performed. This is a top-notch company that, if needed, I would call immediately! Fantastic!

Quick to respond and complete repairs requested...only thing lacking was communication ..Dean stated he would contact me prior to starting and had agreed to use materials I had already purchased ...none of my request honored and next time I heard from him was an invoice being presented ...he then agreed to follow up...never heard from him....now I have a home needing full roof replacement and have to search for another company..ugh...used them again and they did excellent job this time so I am changing rating

I had a leak around our furnace vent and four vent boots were cracked. I called many roofing companies and most were a month or more out on service or not willing to come out. I got a referral from a neighbor for RL Hayes Roofing. They quickly came out to provide me an estimate for the job and was able to come the next week to complete the job. They had a faster turn around time and better value than the three other roof companies that provided estimates. They notifed me when they would come and were right on time. They had a small crew which were able to get the job done efficiently. They did great work! We are very satisifed.

UPDATE: I'm lowering my rating by a bit due to our latest experience. Last time, they came out quickly and got the job done immediately at a great price. I guess they're more busy these days. They came out quick enough, but having the repair done same day wasn't even an option (even though it was simple). The estimate was fairly high (so much so that we contacted another roofer for the job), but the scope of work could have been different, so we won't compare those. Most bothersome was the fact that they didn't even offer the option of a same day repair (like they did last time) and when I called the owner to see if this was possible, he never bothered to call back. ORIGINAL REVIEW Had a hole in my roof from a branch impaling the shingles. Called one roofer out and was quoted over $600 without the guy even getting up there, and told it would take a week for them to come out. Called RL Hayes Roofing for a second opinion. They arrived the next day, hopped right on the roof, quoted me less than one quarter what the other guys did, and had it done in half an hour. Nice guys. Very helpful.
